🦋When Purpose Outweighs The Pain

There are moments when the very thing God has called you to do feels like the thing that's breaking you.

I've felt that.

There were times I wanted to walk away from this podcast and this website. Not because I stopped believing in the message... but because the process became so frustrating.

Buttons wouldn't work.

Pages wouldn't cooperate.

Things I thought would take minutes took hours.

There were moments I wondered if it was worth it.

But then I remembered something.

I've survived far harder things than a difficult website.

I survived abuse.

I survived addiction.

I survived prison.

I survived believing I wasn't enough.

Compared to those battles, this was simply another opportunity to decide whether my purpose would be greater than my frustration.

That's what purpose does.

It keeps whispering, "Don't quit."

Not because the road is easy...

...but because someone is waiting on the other side of your obedience.

Sometimes the greatest temptation isn't to give up on God.

It's to give up on what God placed inside of you.

I'm learning that purpose doesn't remove the pain.

It gives the pain somewhere to go.

Instead of allowing my struggles to become excuses, I'm allowing them to become building blocks.

Every obstacle has taught me something.

Every delay has strengthened my patience.

Every setback has reminded me why I started.

If you're standing at the edge of quitting today, let me encourage you.

Take one more step.

Then another.

Your purpose may not erase your pain...

...but one day your purpose will outweigh it.

And when it does, you'll look back and realize that every difficult step was preparing you to help someone else keep walking.

Until next time... let's keep healing together.
