🙏Weekend Devotional: Learning To Rest.

There are seasons when we become so accustomed to carrying the weight of life that we forget what it feels like to truly rest.
We carry yesterday's regrets. We worry about tomorrow's uncertainties. We replay conversations. We fight battles no one else can see.
Sometimes, the greatest act of faith isn't doing more...it's trusting God enough to be still.
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for carrying me through another week.
Some days have been filled with joy, while others have left me weary. You have seen every tear, heard every silent prayer, and remained faithful through it all.
Today, I choose to lay my burdens at Your feet.
Teach me to rest—not because every problem has been solved, but because I know You are already working on my behalf.
Quiet the anxious thoughts that keep my mind awake. Heal the places in my heart that are still tender. Replace fear with peace, worry with trust, and exhaustion with renewed strength.
Help me remember that my worth is not found in how much I accomplish but in whose I am.
As a new week begins, help me walk forward with confidence, knowing I never walk alone.
Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
🌿 Before You Go...
Take one slow, deep breath.
Release what you cannot control.
Hold on to what God has promised.
May you find rest for your body, peace for your mind, and hope for your heart.
Until next weekend... keep walking. 💜🌿
